Sean M. Dougherty

Sean Dougherty is a great addition to The Duffy Firm. Prior to joining the firm, as an assistant defender for the Defender Association of Philadelphia, he provided high-quality, client-centered legal representation, courtroom advocacy, and a connection to social services to many clients in need. He has tried numerous felony and misdemeanor cases to verdict, both waiver and jury trials.

Here at The Duffy Firm, he does the same - ensures that the legal rights of injured individuals are protected and championed at every phase of the legal process.

Prior to his work with the Defender Association, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Daniel D. McCaffery, Superior Court of Pennsylvania. During law school, he was a legal intern with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, the Honorable Rose Marie DeFino-Nastasi, Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, and the Honorable Susan Peikes Gantman, Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
