BJ’s Wholesale Club Berkley Jensen Gazebos

The roof panels for the gazebo can come off in high winds, posing an injury risk. There have been 137+ reports of the panels dislodging, one of which caused injuries. The company is offering a free repair kit to secure the panels.

The lubricants contain a contaminant that can irritate skin. The company is offering a free replacement upon safe disposal of the item.

Fisher-Price Dumbbell Toy

The dumbbell toy in the Baby Biceps Gift Sets has a gray cap that can come off, posing a choking hazard for infants. There have been 7 reports of the cap coming off. Consumers should immediately take the toy away from young children. Fisher-Price is offering a $10 refund for the dumbbell toy only.

Mamibaby and Cosy Nation Baby Loungers

These loungers fail to meet federal safety standards. They pose a suffocation hazard because the sleeping pad is too thick. They pose a fall and entrapment hazard due to an opening at the foot of the lounger and the lack of a stand if used on elevated surfaces. Their sides are too low to contain the infant. The company is offering a full refund.

Samsung Slide-In Electric Ranges

Accidental contact by humans or pets can activate the front-mounted knobs for these ranges, posing a fire hazard. There have been over 300 reports of unintentional activation, resulting in about 250 fires. At least 18 fires caused extensive property damage, 7 fires caused pet deaths, and 40 injuries have been reported. The company is offering a free set of knob locks or covers, depending upon the model.

Stanley Black & Decker DeWALT Battery Walk-Behind Mowers

The mower can fail to shut off if there is water in the handle support while the battery is installed, posing a laceration hazard. There have been 10 reports of the mower failing to shut off when the handle is released, and one report of the mower starting without a key inserted, resulting in a finger laceration. The company is offering a free repair at authorized dealers.

Trader Joe’s Mango Tangerine Scented Candles

The candle can have a larger than expected flame, with the fire spreading from wick to wax, posing a fire hazard. There have been 14 reports of high flames, including 3 reports of property damage, and 2 burns. Consumers should stop using the candle and return it for a full cash refund at the store or a gift card by mail.
