Anker Soundcore Lithium-Ion Battery Powered Bluetooth Speakers

The lithium-ion batteries that power these speakers pose a fire hazard. There have been 33 reports of the batteries overheating, including smoking and small fires. Consumers should immediately stop using the speakers and contact the company for a replacement. They also should dispose of the lithium-ion batteries in accordance with local and state regulations.

Charmast Power Banks

These power banks have lithium-ion batteries which can overheat and ignite. This poses fire and burn hazards. There have been 44 reports of the batteries causing issues, including igniting, smoking, and melting. Four consumers suffered burns. The company is offering a full refund. Consumers will have to dispose of the batteries in accordance with state and local regulations.

Chevron SKIL Lithium-Ion Batteries for SKIL Lawnmowers

Chevron North America has recalled its SKIL 40V 5.0Ah lithium-ion batteries for SKIL lawnmowers and outdoor tools due to the risk of their overheating and causing a fire and/or burns. There have been 100 reports of incidents, including melting, smoking, and fires. This included eight reports of minor burns and/or smoke inhalation and 49 reports of property damage. Consumers should contact Chevron for a battery collection kit so that they may return the battery safely. The company is offering the choice of a free replacement or a refund.

HTRC C240 Battery Chargers

These chargers, which are used to charge lithium-ion batteries, can ignite or cause the lithium-ion batteries, thereby posing a risk of serious injury and death. There have been 32 reports of fires and thermal incidents, including five instances of significant property damage, and one injury. The company is offering a full refund.

Melii Baby Silicone Spoons

These baby spoons, with animal shapes as the handles, can break apart during use, posing a choking hazard. Consumers should take the spoon away from children and contact the company for a free replacement set.

NetZero USA High Bay LED Light Fixtures

The plastic pins that hold the light fixture in place can degrade. If that happens, the electrically charged LED board can encounter nearby items, posing a fire hazard. There have been seven reports of loose LED boards. Consumers should immediately stop using the light fixtures that show signs of discoloration. The company is offering a free inspection and on-site repair.

Polaris RZR XP 1000 and XP 4 1000 Recreational Off-Road Vehicles

The positive battery terminal can be damaged by the seat base, causing it to be exposed. When that happens, it can contact nearby components that conduct electricity. The resulting electrical short poses a fire hazard. There have been three incidents, including two reports of fires and one of melted wires. The company is offering a full battery cover to be self-installed or installed for free by a professional.

QVC Temp-tations Oven Gloves

The gloves do not provide enough protection from the heat, which poses a burn risk. There have been 162 reports of insufficient heat protection, including 92 minor burns. QVC is offering a refund.

Stanley Switchback and Trigger Action Travel Mugs

When exposed to heat and torque, the mug’s lid threads can shrink. This can cause the lid to detach, which poses a burn risk. There have been 91 reports of the lids detaching, including 38 burn injuries with 11 consumers requiring medical attention. The company is offering a free replacement lid and will pay for shipping.

Vacation by Vacation Black Label Scented Candles

Vacation has recalled its Legendary VACATION by Vacation Black Label Scented Candles due to its risk of fire and laceration. If the flame burns too high, it will cause the glass container to break. There have been seven reports of high flames, some of which caused the glass container to break. Consumers should stop using the recalled candles and contact Vacation for a refund.

Yoto Mini Speakers for Children

The lithium-ion battery in these speakers can overheat and ignite, posing a burn risk and fire hazards. There have been 12 reports of the speakers overheating or melting. Consumers should immediately take the speakers away from children and contact Yoto for a free battery replacement kit and dispose of the lithium-ion batteries in accordance with local and state regulations.
