Bambu Lab 3D Printers

When bent or damaged, the heat bed cable can short-circuit and spark or burn through the insulation. This could cause fire hazards and electric shock. The company is offering a full refund or a free replacement of the heat bed cable.

Baseus Magnetic Wireless Charging Power Banks

The power banks use lithium batteries, which can overheat and pose a fire hazard. There have been 171 reports of incidents. These include 132 bulging batteries and 39 reports of fires with 13 burn injuries and $20,000 in property damage. The company is offering a full refund with proof of purchase or a $36 cash refund without.

Brookstone TurboVac Handheld Rechargeable Vacuums

Southern Telecom has recalled its popular vacuums which can short circuit, posing a fire hazard. There have been two reports of serious fires, resulting in property damage. The company is offering a full refund.

Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing Amana, Daikin, Goodman-Branded Air Conditioning and Heat Pump

The units’ electrical ratings are mislabeled, which can lead to incorrect wiring, which poses a fire hazard. The company is offering a free inspection and repair.

Daikin FIT, Amana Brand S-series and Goodman SD Heat Pumps

When power is interrupted, and then resumes, the heat pump can heat up excessively even in cooling mode. This can pose harm to consumers. The company is offering a software update to fix the issue.

Frontgate Chaise Lounge Chairs

Cinmar has recalled its popular lounge chairs due to risks of finger crushing and amputation. Users’ fingers can be entrapped between the adjustable backrest and the frame of the chair. The have been three reports of incidents, including two partial finger amputations and one finger crushing injury that required surgery. The company is offering a free repair kit.

Goal Zero Yeti Link Modules

The connection between the cables and modules overheat and melt, which poses a risk of fires and burns. There have been two reports of the cables melting inside a vehicle, causing minor property damage. The company is offering a free replacement kit with a new Yeti link module, a new connector, and all the necessary cables.

Good Earth Lighting Rechargeable Integrated Lights

The battery on the lights can overheat, igniting the plastic housing and posing a risk of fire and burns. There is one report of a death and another customer treated for smoke inhalation. There are nine other reports of the lights overheating, including six that resulted in fires and property damage. The company is offering a free replacement light.

JoyJolt Declan Glass Coffee Mugs

MM Products has recalled their 16 oz. JoyJolt coffee mugs due to risks of burns and lacerations. There have been 103 reports of the mugs breaking at the base, causing 56 injuries including 35 burns and 21 cuts. Seven incidents required surgery and stitches. The company is offering a full refund to consumers.

Kawasaki Motors USA Engines 

Kawasaki is recalling the engines used in Bad Boy Mowers, BigDog, Bobcat, Cub Cadet, Hustler, John Deere, and Kubota Brand Lawn and Garden Equipment. The engines can overheat, posing burn and fire risks. Kawasaki has received eight reports of fires but no injuries. Consumers should contact an authorized dealer to schedule a free repair.

MGA Entertainment Miniverse Make It Mini Sets with Unused Liquid Resins

When the resins in these kits are liquid, they can irritate skin, eyes, and the respiratory tract if inhaled, touched, or ingested. The liquid resins contain amounts of chemicals that are prohibited by the Federal Hazardous Substances Act. There have been 26 reports of incidents, including skin burns and irritation, and triggering of one consumer’s asthma. The company is offering a full refund or replacement product.

myCharge POWER HUB All-in-One Portable Chargers

These chargers can overheat while charging, posing risks of fires and burns. While there have been no reports of injuries, there have been five incidents, including two reports of residential fires causing an estimated $165,000 in property damage. Costco also received 115 returns, with consumers noting that the chargers started smoking, sparking, and/or melting. The company is offering a free replacement.

Nap Queen Sleep Victoria Hybrid Mattresses

Adven Group has recalled its popular mattresses due to a fire hazard. The mattresses violate federal flammability regulations for mattresses. No injuries have been reported. The company is offering a free fitted cover that brings the mattress in compliance with the federal standard.

REI Co-op Cycles REV Children’s Bicycles with Training Wheels

The bicycle’s training wheel assembly can detach, causing a risk of falls and injury. There have been four reports of the training wheels falling off, causing scrapes, bruising and one involving broken arms. Local REI stores are offering free repairs.

The lock can be opened by unauthorized users. This presents a risk of serious injury or death. There have been 77 reports of the safes being opened by unauthorized users. The company is offering a free repair kit.

The power cord can overheat and short circuit. This poses risks of fires, burns, and electrical shock. Vitamix Ascent Series and Venturist Series Blending Containers and Blade Bases

Vitamix has recalled its 8-ounce and 20-ounce blending containers and blade bases because they can separate, exposing the blades and posing a laceration hazard. There have been 27 reports of lacerations. The company is offering a free repair kit, including a protective plastic shroud that goes over the blade base. This recall includes those that were originally part of the 2018 recall.
