Balloon Time Mini Helium Tanks

Worthington Industries has recalled its helium tanks due to a faulty plastic cap that can cause compressed helium to be released into the air unexpectedly. Consumers should empty the tank by pointing it away from them and carefully removing the plastic cap and safety seal. They can then release all helium in a well-ventilated area. They also should write their name, the word “RECALLED,” and a destruction code with a non-erasable marker on the container. To receive the refund, customers register online at the website noted below and upload a photo of their product.

Berkshire Blanket & Home Company Heated Throws and Blankets

The electric blankets and throws can overheat, posing burn and fire hazards. There have been 9 reports of the blankets/throws overheating, burning, or melting. The company is offering a full refund. Consumers must cut the cord and write “refund” and an assigned 5-digit code on the wash label, then submit a photo of the destroyed blanket.

GE Electric Cooktop

Even after being turned off, the cooktop’s burners can stay lit. That’s due to misaligned burner knob stems and fractured burner knob components. This poses a burn hazard. Consumers should contact the company for a free replacement burner knob assembly.

Grizzly Industrial Wood Lathes

The wood lathe’s cutting tool can break. This can cause a laceration hazard for those who come in contact with the cutting tool and injuries from projectile pieces that can strike users and bystanders. The company is offering a free repair kit.

IKEA LETTAN Mirrors

The plastic fittings that attach the mirror to the wall can break, causing the mirror to fall. This presents a laceration hazard to consumers. There have been 10 incidents globally in addition to 55 that were reported in a previous recall. IKEA is offering a free set of replacement fittings and instructions. Consumers also may request a full refund.

iMOONZZZ Children’s Nightgowns

The nightgowns do not meet federal flammability standards and pose a risk of burn injuries to children. Consumers should take the nightgowns away from children, cut them in half, and send a photo of the destroyed garment to the company for a full refund.

Lochinvar Condensing Boilers

The boiler’s flue collector can crack if there’s a high impact event in the burner chamber. This can prompt the boiler to emit carbon monoxide, posing a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning and even death. The company is offering a free repair by a qualified technician.

Tiblue Stainless Steel Children’s Cups by FENGM

The bottom of the cups contains a solder bead that has levels of lead exceeding the federal standard. The lid also can crack or break, producing sharp edges and small parts that pose laceration and/or choking hazards. Consumers should take the cups away from children and contact the company for a full refund.

Twin-Star International Infrared Quartz Electric Fireplaces

These fireplaces can overheat, posing a fire hazard. There have been 24 reports of overheating, smoke, and fire. Consumers should immediately unplug and stop using the fireplaces and contact the company for a full refund.

ZLINE Gas Ranges

The oven can emit serious and potentially toxic levels of carbon monoxide gas when in use. This puts consumers at risk of carbon monoxide poisoning and even death. Before the recall, ZLINE received 44 reports of carbon monoxide emission, including 3 reports of consumers seeking medical attention. After the recall was announced, ZLINE received 131 reports that the repair was not completed successfully and that the ranges were still emitting dangerous levels of carbon monoxide. Consumers should immediately stop using the oven even if they had their range repaired as part of an earlier recall. The company is offering a replacement range or refund.
