Anker Power Banks

This portable charger for smartphones, tablets, and laptops uses lithium batteries that can overheat, causing burns or fires. There have been 28 reports of batteries overheating, exploding, or catching fire, including two cases of burns to users’ hands. Consumers should stop using the chargers, dispose of them safely, and contact the company for a free replacement. Units affected: 2,100

CFMOTO All-Terrain Vehicles

When the driver releases the vehicle’s throttle, it may fail to return to the idle position. This poses the chance of unexpected acceleration and a crash hazard. There have been four reports of the throttle not returning to idle, including one where the vehicle crashed, causing animpact injury. Consumers should contact an authorized dealer for a free repair.

Colsen Fire Pits

These fire pits pose a serious burn risk due to flame jetting, which can happen if the alcohol reservoir is refilled while the pit is still lit. This can cause flames to shoot out, spreading burning alcohol onto people nearby. The alcohol may also leak, potentially leading to a flash fire. There have been 31 reports of incidents, including 19 burns, with some victims suffering third-degree burns over large areas of their bodies, requiring extensive medical care. Consumers should stop using these fire pits and dispose of them, as the company cannot offer refunds.

Fisher-Price Snuga Infant Swings

This swing can pose a suffocation risk if used for sleeping, due to the headrest and body support insert. Adding bedding increases this risk. Tragically, five infant deaths were reported between 2012 and 2022. Added bedding and unrestrained infants may have played a role. Consumers should remove the body support insert from the seat pad before continuing to use the swing. Fisher-Price is offering a $25 refund to those who do so.

Gimars Playpens 

The playpen’s basketball hoop accessory and the mattress both pose an entrapment hazard for infants and young children. The playpens also violate federal safety standards for play yards. No injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately stop using the playpens and contact the company for a full refund.

Halloween Projector Flashlights

NPW Group has recalled these flashlights due to fire and burn hazards. They can overheat and melt the outer casing. There have been nine reports of overheating including six reports of smoke or fire and four reports of minor burn injuries. Consumers should turn off the product, remove the batteries, mark the product recalled in permanent marker, and return to Target for a full refund.

Homewerks Allen + Roth Lighted Bathroom Mirrors

The glass can detach from the base and fall, which poses injury risks. There have been 44 reports of the glass detaching. Consumers should turn the power off, stop using the mirrors, and contact the company for a full refund or replacement.

Olivia Cigar Slim Lighters

The lighters do not have child safety features, which poses a burn risk as well as a fire hazard. No injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately dispose of the lighters. As these items were given away for free, no refunds or replacements are available.

PowerBlock Commercial Pro 100 Weight Set

The heavier weight plates, 55+ lbs., may dislodge from the grip handles, which poses an injury risk to the user. There have been four reports of the weight plates slipping. The company is offering free replacement handles.

Textron Arctic Cat and Tracker 

Even if the vehicle is placed in park, it can roll when on an incline. There have been 12 reports of the vehicles moving while in a parked position, but no injuries. Consumers should immediately stop using the vehicle and schedule a free repair.
