Duffy Presents at Masters of Litigation

(Philadelphia) Tom Duffy, founder of The Duffy Firm, visited Temple University Beasley School of Law on November 11, 2022, to teach an advanced advocacy skills class. Duffy presented at “Masters of Litigation,” a continuing legal education program presented by the law school and the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL).

This year, Duffy covered “Lessons from Dumb Mistakes: How to Recover and How to Avoid.” He was joined by fellow attorneys William Ricci of Ricci Tyrrell Johnson & Grey; Leigh Skipper of Duane Morris; and Susan Lin of Kairys, Rudovsky, Messing, Feinberg & Lin. Invited attendees included Temple University students, alumni, faculty, staff and public interest attorneys from around the region.

Duffy himself is a graduate of Temple University’s law school and presents at the Masters of Litigation program annually. He was also invited in 2016 to present the school’s prestigious Kolsby lecture. He is a fellow of both the ACTL and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, invitation-only associations of exceptional trial lawyers from the United States and around the globe.

In 1988, Tom Duffy left a promising career at a large Philadelphia firm to establish his own practice with one singular focus— helping individuals and families who are the victims of catastrophic injury. Since that time, The Duffy Firm has secured millions for victims of catastrophic injury in Philadelphia. Learn more at duffyfirm.com.
