Temple University’s 7th Annual Masters of Litigation Featured Tom Duffy as Speaker
(Philadelphia) – Tom Duffy, founder of The Duffy Firm, was a featured presenter at the 7th Annual Masters of Litigation, hosted by Temple University Beasley School of Law and the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL). The program, held on November 10, 2023, teaches advanced advocacy skills to Temple University students, alumni, faculty, staff, and public interest attorneys from around the region.
This year, Duffy covered “Lessons from Expecting the Unexpected.” He was joined by fellow attorneys William Ricci of Ricci Tyrrell Johnson & Grey; Leigh Skipper of Duane Morris; and Susan Lin of Kairys, Rudovsky, Messing, Feinberg & Lin.
Duffy brings decades of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation. He has an "AV" rating - the highest possible - from LexisNexis Martindale Hubbell, and is listed in Martindale Hubbell’s Bar Register of Preeminent lawyers. A respected attorney in his field who has successfully argued before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Duffy authored the closing chapter of the book "Medical-Legal Aspects of Pain and Suffering,” and is a lecturer who has given countless educational presentations on trial practice.
A Temple Law graduate, Duffy presents annually at the Masters of Litigation program. He was also invited in 2016 to present the school’s prestigious Kolsby lecture. He is a fellow of both the ACTL and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, invitation-only associations of exceptional trial lawyers from the United States and around the globe.
