Tom Duffy Admitted to American College of Trial Lawyers
(Irvine, CA) Thomas J. Duffy, Esq. of Duffy + Partners has been named a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations in North America.
The induction ceremony took place before an audience of 700+ during the 58th Spring Meeting of the College in Tucson, Arizona, where 90 new Fellows were inducted. Founded in 1950, the College is composed of the best of the trial bar from the US and Canada and strives to improve and elevate the standards of trial practice, the administration of justice and the ethics of the trial profession. Membership in the College cannot exceed 1% of the total lawyer population of any state or province. There are currently over 5,700 members, including active Fellows, Emeritus Fellows, Judicial Fellows (those who ascended to the bench after induction) and Honorary Fellows.
Fellowship is extended by invitation only, and only after careful investigation, to experienced lawyers with at least 15 years of trial experience who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality.
This honor represents one of several milestones in 2008 for Tom Duffy, including the firm’s 20th anniversary and its recent move into a grand new office space encompassing the entire 55th floor of 1 Liberty Place.
